Thomas Varley III

Thomas Varley III (Tommy), passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a lifelong avid fisherman, gifted sushi chef, dedicated nurse, passionate gardener, and lover of animals. He lived with a deep connection to nature and a love for creating and sharing beauty in all its forms.

His enthusiasm, generosity, and quiet strength brought people together—whether around a fishing boat at dawn, a hand-prepared sushi banquet, or a blooming backyard garden. His spirit lives on in every cast line, every carefully sliced piece of sashimi, and every flower that opens to the sun.

Tommy is survived by his loving mother, Jane and stepfather, Marshall; his sister, Becca and step-sister Kathy; his nephew, Lucas and niece, Ella; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a wide circle of friends. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

To honor his life and the joy he brought to the world, the family encourages you to spend a quiet moment in a garden, cook something with love, or cast a line in his memory.
