I, as well as so many others, can not "wrap our brains around" the news of losing you way too soon.
I will always remember...
The day you saved my apartment (& maybe others). When I first started a fire in the fireplace. I, inadvertently, forgot to open the flue. As the apartment began to fill with smoke & I began to panic, you grabbed the fireplace tongs to lift the burning log out onto my cement patio so you could douse it with water. After all was safe, we had a good laugh about that one ;)

We lost touch after MSH, but I saw him from time to time after we both found ourselves in law enforcement. I just found out about his passing this morning or I would have made arrangements to attend.
