Thomas E. Zeppelin

Thomas E. Zeppelin of San Antonio, TX, age 71, died Saturday, July 21, 2001. He served in the United States Marine Corps with duty at 8th and I in Washington D.C. and later the Korean War. He was a member of the Chosin Few. After completing his military service Tom graduated from Michigan State University. He retired in 1994 from Gulf States Manufacturing in Starkville, MS. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio and very active in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Erma Zeppelin. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Jan of San Antonio; daughter, Jennifer Zeppelin Berscheidt and her husband Jim, Broomfield, CO; son, Deron E. Zeppelin and his wife Kristin of Alexandria, VA; and other family members and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Monday, July 23, 2001 at Porter Loring Mortuary North from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
