Tomas Calderon

Tomas Calderon, 'Tom', born on November 15, 1937, a loving husband and father of 6 children went to be with the Lord on December 09, 2021 at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his parents, Belen Calderon and Cenobia De Leon. Is survived by his wife, Alma and their 3 children; Tomas Calderon Jr., Marisol A. Calderon, Javier T. Calderon; his 3 children, Anna M. Rodriguez, Ernestine Lopez, Leonard Calderon from his first wife, Maria. Tom is survived by sister, Esperanza Gutierrez; half siblings Luis Calderon, Linda Calderon Aguilar; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

His profession was in carpentry as a master carpenter building homes, also became a self taught mechanic.

Tom's passion in life was his family, enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren, always helping others, his motto was work hard, laugh often, and love always; he never gave up on anyone or anything, stayed selfless in giving of his time and talent even when he couldn't, he overcame his obstacles to live a better life for his loved ones. He was a man of faith, enjoyed going to Sunday mass, and raised his family to do the same. He lived a great life, he did it his way, never giving up on hope or love.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Favorite music by artists; Antonio Aguilar, Ramon Ayala, Vincente Fernandez, loved to sing, dance in his Stacy Adams shoes. Favorite movies; old time looney tunes cartoons, old westerns, Bruce Lee movies; Hobbies; liked to play games, dominos, dice, shooting pool, karate, boxing, hunting, fishing, driving around in his 1967 Plymouth Road Runner and Plymouth GTX.

A Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Tx 78237, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A Mass will be on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen Ave., San Antonio, Tx 78237.
