Tommie H. Malone

Tommie H. Malone LTC (Ret.) U.S. Army veteran born on July 4, 1941 went be with our Lord on July 14, 2019 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rufus and Vileta Malone. Wife, Carmen Rivera Malone. Siblings; James Malone, Herbert Malone, and Gladys Stanford. Tommie is survived by his partner, Irene Mcphie. Children; Clara Malone and Ivonne Malone. Grandchildren, Haley Malone and Madison Malone. Sisters; Emma Martin and Mary Clark. Sisters in law; Lottie Malone and Sylvia Malone; Brother in laws, James C. Clark and Rafael Gomez. Followed by numerous nieces and nephews. Tommie served 28 years active duty in the U.S. Army, after serving his country he spent over 20 years in the San Antonio school district as a JROTC coordinator. He was known for his love for cooking barbecuing and fishing. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. Tommie will be dearly missed by all his close family and friends. A special thank you goes to Diane Roberson, who loved and cared for Tommie.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the chapel service to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
