He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed and Verna Ashley; wife, Edith Ashley; brother, Kenneth Ashley; sisters, Wanda Clement, Reeda Thomas and Debra Valentine and granddaughter, Shauni Ashley.
Tom is survived by his sons, Herbert Ashley and wife Bobbie and Thomas Ashley; daughter, Christine Ashley Sparkman and husband Jack; brother, Charles Ashley, sister, Brenda Bridges; granddaughters, Emily Ashley and Edith Frank; grandsons, Reed Ashley and Timothy Frank.
