I WILL ALSO BE HONORING TRINIDAD FOR HER SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY BY HAVING A CHRISTMAS WREATH  PLACED ON HER GRAVESITE AT FORT SAM HOUSTON NATIONAL CEMETERY ON DECEMBER 18, 2021  THRU THE WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA ORGANIZATION

TRINIDAD AND I WORKED TOGETHER FOR MANY YEARS AND ENJOYED MEETING AND GOING TO LUNCH TOGETHER ALSO ONE YEAR A GROUP OF US GOT TOGETHER AND SHE SHOWED US HOW TO MAKE TAMALES

TRINDAD WAS A GREAT FRIEND. AT CHRISTMAS TIME ONE YEAR A GROUP OF US LADIES THAT WORKED TOGETHER MADE TAMALES  SHE OF COURSE WAS THE LEADER.  FUN DAY.   I  WORK  WITH WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA  SAN ANTONIO AND OUR MISSION IS TO PLACE A  CHRISTMAS WREATH ON EACH  AND EVERY GRAVES ITE OF OUR FALLEN HEROES RESTING AT FORT SAM HOUSTON NAT'L CEMETERY' AND I WILL BE PLACEING  A WREATH ON THIS FALLEN HERO AND FRIEND. 2020

Trinidad or as I liked to call her Trinny brought so much laughter to our visits!  We especially looked forward to Burrito Saturday! I miss our visits more than I can express here!! Love you Miss T❤️❤️❤️

It was a pleasure to get to know Trinidad at New Forest.  She was very witty!!  I enjoyed sharing a cup of hot chocolate while she enjoyed her favorite coffee.  She told wonderful stories and I enjoyed her warm, welcoming kindnesses!!  I will miss her!!

It was my joy to meet Trinidad when she was a resident at Newforest Retirement Home. Another retired military veteran and I both parishioners at St. Luke Catholic Church, presided at communion services at the facility each Wednesday afternoon. We shared wonderfully enjoyable times visiting with her, marveling at her sense of humor and sharp mind. Even when Trinidad transferred to assisted living  at Newforest, she was still able to participate in our communion service. It was when Trinidad was in assisted living that I recall how at the conclusion of our service, she would say she was ready to go to the "mess hall" for dinner.  

My husband and I had known Trinidad for many years.  I worked with her at Wilford Hall Medical Center, where she volunteered her time.  There are not enough words to describe how very special Trinidad was to so many people.  She was such a caring woman and very hard working.  She always made sure things were done right! She was such an honest person too.  When I used to have bad hair days, she would say :"your hair looks like it is tired today!" My husband and I used to visit her when she lived in her home and do things for her that she could not do.  She was like a second mother to us both!  We used to take her to "Champagne" brunches downtown San Antonio which she always enjoyed.  Trinidad will always hold a special place in our hearts.  She will be missed by so many!  

I loved working with Trinidad.  I loved listening to her stories.  But most of all, I loved to listen to her laugh; she had a wonderful sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around.  She will always hold a special place in my heart.  

I knew Trinidad for many years by working with her at Wilford Hall Medical Center in the Volunteer department.  She loved everyone.  She gave you a quiet smile every time she saw you.  She made people feel special.  The grapevine always kept everyone up to date with how Trinidad was doing in her later years.  
She was a very special lady.
