Trinidad Martinez Sanchez

Trinidad Martinez Sanchez, born on May 1, 1944, in Ciudad Anáhuac, Nuevo León, Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Trinidad was known for her vibrant spirit, deep faith, and love of life.

With a natural green thumb, Trinidad found joy in nurturing plants, cultivating not just flowers and vegetables, but also the relationships in her life. Her home was always a place of warmth and togetherness, especially during family gatherings and holidays, which she cherished. An exceptional cook, she often shared her love through the meals she prepared, bringing family closer together.

Trinidad’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was an active and devoted member of Templo Cristiano Bethel, where her commitment to God and her church community earned her recognition for her steadfast attendance and involvement. She loved listening to Cumbias, Rancheras, and Christian hymns, which filled her home and heart with joy.

Her memory will be carried forward by her children: Horacio M. Fuentes, Ruben Sanchez, Francisco Sanchez, and Dora Alicia Fuentes; her grandchildren: Ruby Lynn Sanchez, Zeth Ruben Sanchez, Daisy Silva, Alexandria Rose Sanchez, and Amber Maree Sanchez; and her siblings: Jose Angel Martinez, Elvira M. Juarez, Theodora M. Rios, Rebecca M. Rivera, Olga Martinez, and Ramiro Martinez.

Trinidad is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Jesusa Martinez, and her brother, Everardo Martinez.

A loving, caring, and happy woman, Trinidad’s warmth will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and resilience that will forever be remembered by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

There will be a Visitation held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 beginning at 9:30 am, with a Chapel Service at 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
