Tristan Joel Washington

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the tragic passing of our son, Tristan Washington at the age of 19 on August 10,2025. Tristan was not only our beloved son, but leaves behind his five brothers, Jaylan, Ian,Titan, Corban and Evan, grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was born April 19,2006 but was adopted as our son, December 16, 2011. Tristan was always very curious, from a young age. While other children may be swinging or going down slides, he would wander off to see what type of berries are growing on a nearby bush, or how the water spigot works. Growing up, he loved Legos and would build great pieces just by looking at pictures. He always had a love for nature, music, art and fried chicken. He was a goofy kid, full of adventure and always kept us on our toes.

Most recently in life, he loved to sketch, read, play games, and hang out with the family. He still loved his fried chicken and his favorite was Popeyes.

Though his time with us was far too short, we will carry his memory in every sunrise, every laugh, and every quiet moment, and he will live on, forever in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 12:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
