Jesse was a graduate of Brackenridge High School and UT at Austin. He was a World War II Veteran and received the Army Air Corp Bronze Star. Jesse was a Texas Registered Professional engineer and owned Stinson Manufacturing, making metal airplane parts and other space components.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth F. Jenkins. Survivors, Sons, Jess Jenkins, Jr (Pat), Bill Jenkins, and Tom Jenkins, Jr (Keri); daughter, Kathy Bearden; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
