Vernon (Les) Maes, age 74, of San Antonio entered into rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Bernabe and Clara Martinez Maes; brothers Andrew Maes and Edmund "Emmo" Maes; sister Pearl Fodge.
He is survived by his wife Carrie Maes; son Kenneth Maes, daughters Deborah Maes Samp (Jeremy); and Leslie Maes; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Brothers James A. Maes (Diane); Rev. Kenneth D. Maes (Pat); Raoul Maes (Geri) and
sister Novella Lucero; numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad was a caring and giving soul and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
