Vicki Doreen Knight

Vicki Knight, age 71, loving mother to Stephanie and Phillip, passed away at on August 25, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. In her final moments, Vicki was surrounded by both of her children and was finally at peace and pain free after a 20-year battle with liver disease.

Vicki was born in Greenville, South Carolina to Mason and Barbara Wright, on August 19, 1954. Her father served in the Air Force, which led her to grow up in San Antonio. She worked in the US Civil Service for the United States Army Dentac for nearly 40years.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Mason and Barbara Wright, and her sister Leslie Kay Morgan.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Knight, son Phillip Knight (Kristen), her brother Mason Wright (Linda) and grandchildren Cooper and Josephine. Vicki will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Vicki’s family asks that she be remembered for her quick wit, her love of a good dirty joke and watching baseball, especially if that baseball had her grandson Cooper on the field.

The family of Vicki wishes to extend our sincere thanks to University Health, with special appreciation to the nurses and doctors who cared for her and showed her the upmost dignity in her final moments.
