Vic, as she was most known by all who knew her, grew up with her three siblings in Puerto Rico and San Antonio, TX as their father was serving in the United States Air Force. Vic lived a simple life and those she befriended saw that in her immediately. Common words used to describe her were “She was always friendly,” “She had a smile that would light up the room;” and “She was kindhearted” just to name a few. If you really knew her, you felt that from Vic.
If you were a friend on Facebook or just looked up her posts, you would see that same theme - love for her family and for her friends - but one thing that really stands out is the love she had for her big Sis, Kathy. One posting of some memes about sisters reads “I love my sister, she is simply amazing, and I just couldn’t imagine living my life without her.”
Vic also had many friends in her neighborhood and in her life who cared about her and loved her. Without a doubt they all feel blessed to have had her in their life and to have received her kindheartedness, friendly spirit, and love.
Vic also held a special place in her heart for animals, mainly dogs, and if she could have, she probably would have saved them all. She also liked to go shopping for jewelry and purses. Most weekends growing up as military kids were spent camping, hanging out at ball parks during our dad’s softball tournaments, and skating on Lackland.
On Aril 18, 2018 Vic posted on Facebook. “Tell someone you love them today, because tomorrow is not promised. To my family and friends: I love you.” Let’s honor her kind and loving spirit by remembering to tell someone you love them. Vic sure was loved and will be missed by all.
