Vincent S. Guzman

Vincent S. Guzman, age 94, of San Antonio, died on Monday, November 30, 2020. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 5, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Paulina Guzman; son, Charles Guzman; and grandson, Emilio Guzman. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Julia Guzman, who he married on April 17, 1950; his children, John Guzman and wife, Carol, Gilbert Guzman, and Diane Anders and husband, William; grandchildren, Vincent Guzman and wife, Colleen, Tony Taño, Julie Alcoser and husband, Isaac, Danny Taño, Jacquelyn Guzman and husband, Tony Gale, Jennifer Guzman and fiancé, Peter Talley, and Johnny Guzman; his great-grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Nicholas, Jordan, Alina, Liana, Harper, Emerson, and Antonina; his siblings, Paul Guzman and Modesta Cintron and husband, Bill. Vincent served in the United States Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He then went on to work at Kelly Air Force Base in civil service as a senior supervisor for aircraft maintenance. He worked there for 40 years before retiring. Vincent loved to travel, especially to the coast. He enjoyed fishing and was always eager to discuss current events with his friends and family. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.
