Dear Auntie Violet, 
 We are all deeply saddened and shocked to hear that you are no longer with us. Although I did not know you as well as the rest of my family, I knew that everyone looked up to you because of your outgoing personality and how hard you always worked to take care of your family. I remember you always cooked the best food when I came to Texas and you were a great dancer. Your presence always put a smile on everyone's face. I will miss you, but I know you are in a better place now with Grandpa and Aunt Vivian.

My dearest Aunt Violet, It was a great privilege to have known such a wonderful big hearted, loving and caring person. Through your love and affection, you've nurtured my cousins after their mother passed away. You took such a big role yet you never asked for anything in return and that is an action whom one will never forget. Words cannot describe the pain we are enduring right now as we will never be able to hear you yell at us over a voice text message again. That's why I believe that despite the sorrowful time that your departure brought upon us all, you would want us all to carry on your light spirit, your loud laughter, your jokes and your lovable and selfless character every time we remember you... 
You have fought the good fight and went above and beyond the line of duty... "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7...Enjoy your crown that our Lord will reward you with... What a wonderful woman, so sweet and full of life! I am thankful she was brought into my life.

Violet was an amazing character. She was the sister of my late Grandad and they had a lot of similarities in their personality. Both were very loud, funny, caring and always wanted what is best for their children and grandchildren. I will never forget Violet simply because she is a unique person and she will truly be missed by her loved ones but is looking over all of us up in Heaven. The time spent together will never be forgotten. I cherished every moment we had with each other. You raised me from the age of nine years old all the way to an adult. Dearest Violet (aka grandma), 
No words can describe how we feel after your departure. You are the most selfless person I have ever known. I know my brothers and I will never forget all the things you've done for us. From washing our clothes, to making our favorite meals, and protecting us. You've been there for us since the moment we opened our eyes into this world. You are going to be dearly missed. We will miss you a lot violet- but I'll never forget the times when I stayed at your house and we used to have Turkish coffee and watch Arabic shows.. Even though I never understood a word said - I enjoyed watching you laugh uncontrollably at certain parts and your laughter was contagious. We'd spend all day talking and eating the pickles you made and hid for me. You'll never be forgotten for all the amazing times we've shared; your presence will be sorely missed.
