

'Ginny' was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Miami, Florida in 1927. She grew up in the city of Alamo Heights and graduated from Alamo Heights High School.
After high school, she attended Mary Hardin Baylor College and Kansas City Art Institute where she studied Art and is most fondly remembered by her family, and friends for her talent and passion for painting. She had a thriving real estate business in San Antonio which she shared with her mother, Leora Morgan Hartman and later with her husband, Henry Marks. She treasured her 25 plus summers in New Mexico which she shared with Henry, family and friends.
Many times over the years, she fondly referred to their cabin in New Mexico as her 'soul'. Ginny will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her generous heart and her unconditional love for anyone and everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Agate Marks; her three sons, David Amerine and his wife, Nela; Dane Amerine and his wife, Cheryl; and Dean Amerine and his wife, Duang; her grandchildren: Dawn Cameron, Halle Amerine, Travis Amerine and Gretchen Amerine; great-grandchildren: Nathan Sear, Isobel Cameron and Cayden Cameron.
