Virginia Valdez Ponce

Virginia Valdez Ponce born on June 24, 1942 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with The Lord on July 4, 2021 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Lucy Valdez; She is survived by her husband, Jose A. Ponce Jr.; son, Joseph Anthony Ponce and his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Anthony Morin, Zoie Morin, Anyssa Ponce and Madelyn Ponce; sisters, Lucy Lumbreras, Mary Nelda Patino and Kathy Wiseman brothers, Gilbert Valdez, Victor Valdez, Rudy Valdez, Louis Valdez and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78226. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
