Vito M. Spano, age 81, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2011. He was born on April 24, 1930 to Christy & Maria Spano. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force and retired as an attorney for HUD (Housing & Urban Development).
Vito was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Ann Spano; and his second wife, Christina Machado.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Camarillo & husband Pete; step-children, Melinda Machado, Joey Machado and Elizabeth Gillian; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Leonard Spano; sisters, Pat Vona and Toni Raney.
Visitation will be 6 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011 with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 102 S. Audubon, San Antonio, TX 78212.
