Vivian Meche of Winnie, Texas passed away on July 18, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas with her loving family by her side. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Jones; two husbands, Joe Meche and Tommy Beard; two children, Marvin Beard and Teresa Beard and her life-long best friends, Annette Long and Reba Placker.
She is survived by daughter, Tonya Oliver (Scott); two grandsons, Christopher and Brendan Swagerty of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Glynda O'Connell (Kevin); grandchildren, Daniel Fincher, Timothy East and Courtney Davis of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; numerous great-grandchildren.
Vivian loved people, getting to really know them, hearing about their lives, their dreams, their hopes, their stories. She was always making connections, reaching out to others who needed that certain someone in their lives. She had very special friends who considered her a second mom, Peppie Dillard, Tacy Geautreaux, Kayla Kevilus and Andrea Huerta.
Vivian was not only my mom, she was my confidant, the person I could always rely on. She was my best friend, my everything and will be eternally missed. Love you mom, until we meet again at the gates of Heaven.
