

He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and received several commendations and medals for his dedication and service.
After his military retirement, he continued his education, receiving his PhD in Clinical Psychology.
He was an active member of the Jewish community. Wallace served on several boards throughout the community and volunteered his services at Ella Austin, St. Joseph and St. Peter Children's Home.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Riselle Levis Bloom; daughter, Winifred Kamen of Las Vegas, NV; son, Michael Bloom and wife, Oralia of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: Ian and Adam Bloom, Andrew Bengis, Sharon Marcis and Kelly Kamen; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marion and Clyde Goldsmith; nieces and nephews, Marcia and Andrew Wasserman, Ilene and Dave Sporkin, Janice and Robert Jucker; several great nieces and nephews.
Wallace was a sincere and genuine person ~ he will be deeply missed.
