Wanda G. Cosgrove

Wanda G. Cosgrove, age 93, of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born May 8, 1922 to Winston Winfield and Beatrice Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, James H. Cosgrove. She is survived by her children, Sharon Speer, James G. Cosgrove and wife Peggy, Michael S. Cosgrove and wife Sally; grandchildren, Sarah Sonnier and husband Paul, Madeline Turnipseed and husband Tate, Samuel, Carol Anne, and Hannah; and great grandson, Jackson Wunderlich. Wanda attended the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Christian University.

She was one of the first women air traffic controllers in San Antonio when she met her husband, James. Wanda was a consummate artist, painter and sculptor; and was a member of several art groups. She was also a founding member of Bulverde United Methodist Church.

Memorial service Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Bulverde United Methodist Church.
