
Dr. Warren Andrew Parker, Sr., retired Colonel of the U.S. Army and Baylor College of Dentistry, passed away on October 15, 2001. Born in Swedesboro, NJ on May 31, 1932, Warren earned his D.D.S. from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and his Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. His many professional accomplishments include: Assistant Chief and Research Officer, U.S. Army Institute of Dental Research, and Chairman of the Baylor College of Dentistry, Department of Community Health and Preventive Dentistry. He is a recipient of the U.S. Army Legion of Merit Award and three U.S. Army Commendation medals. He was a very compassionate, kind and patient man who influenced his family and all who knew him in a very positive way. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Eileen Parker; their 4 children, Denise Parker, Warren Andrew Parker, Jr., Gail Lamb, Stephen Parker; their spouses; and nine grandchildren.
