Mr. Washington was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born to Walter and Edna Holmes Washington on November 2, 1920. He was married to Marie Hollis in March 1951, who preceded him in death on August 1, 2006. Born to them was one daughter, Gayle Washington'Yates.
Mr. Washington is survived by his daughter, Gayle Washington'Yates and husband Ben Carlton Yates; three grandchildren, Ramone Antoine Casborn, Myisha Casborn, and Unoka Charles Hollis; one sister, Bernice; two brothers, Lionel and Charles Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.
You were a father, dad and mentor to all. You will be missed and loved infinitely.
