He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, having served in many positions for over 50 years. Mr. Dick was the first ordained High Priest in the Cumberland Ward. He had a 38 year career with the CSX railroad before retirement in 1987. Mr. Dick was a veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Army in Germany at the time of the Nuernberg Trials.
He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Charles Virgil Dick.
Mr. Dick is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eleanor Jeane Teets Dick; daughters: Catherine Sue Hiatt and husband, Richard all of San Antonio, TX, Deborah Johnston and husband, Gary of Kennesaw, GA; son, Kenneth R. Dick and wife, Connie of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Ann Miller of Rowlesburg, WV; numerous nieces and nephews.
