William Howard Leigh passed away on August 2, 2015. William was born to William Music Leigh and Era McNeely on September 1, 1931 in Austin, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and earned a Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 2 stars, and a United Nations Service Medal.
William is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Leigh. He is survived by his wife Frances Leigh, children Debbie (Travis, son-in-law) Shilling and Robert "Bubba" (Donna, daughter-in-law) Leigh, grandchildren; Tammy Shilling, Katie (Kevin) Meeks, Kendell Leigh and great-grandchildren Chasidi Shilling and Avery Shilling-Phillips.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park.
