Floyd was a retired San Antonio Police Officer with 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley; son, William Buddy F. Overstreet III and wife, Karen; daughters, Deborah Strauss and husband, Bill; Laura Wright and husband, Robert; son, Chris Haley and wife, Sarah; sister, Eva Springer and husband, Tim; brother, Elam David Overstreet and wife, Helen; 12 grand-children and former wife, Norma Lee Overstreet.
