William L.R. Reimers

Mr. William L.R. Reimers, 86, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013. He was born in Seguin, Texas on October 20, 1926 to William D. and Laura Engelke Reimers. He graduated from Seguin High School and worked at Alamo Paint & Wallpaper for approximately 40 years. He also hung wallpaper on the side until he was 75 years old. Mr. Reimers was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in San Antonio and enjoyed bowling, ballroom dancing and gardening. He was a member of the Wallpaper Hangers Guild and served as president in the 57 Club and was also a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his previous wife Annie Mae Reimers and son, Nelson Dudley Reimers. His survivors include his current wife, Bettie Davis Reimers; children, Beverly Cosper and husband Roger, Liz Sudela and husband Jimmy, Joyce Friedeck and husband Allen, Linda Dunwiddie and husband Ron, Gregory Reimers; grandchildren, Allen Friedeck Jr., Nikki Denman, Rhonda Pennypacker, Ryan Cosper, Nelson Friedeck, Carolyn Barnette, David Reimers, Becky Seery, Jason Resener, Vincent Sudela, Nicky Sudela, Tommy Sudela; numerous great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd., San Antonio. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. The interment will follow in the San Geronimo Cemetery.
