William J. Ruttan, Jr., age 76, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2002 in San Antonio, TX. Mr. Ruttan graduated from Hawarden Iowa High School and subsequently attended Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, and The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, where he graduated with a Master's Degree in Economics. After graduation, he was employed as a bank officer at The First National Bank of Chicago and The Lake Shore National Bank of Chicago. Subsequent to retiring, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to be close to family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia E. Myhre, and his parents, William J. Ruttan and Grace V. Ruttan. He is survived by his brother, John A. Ruttan and his wife Irene; nieces, Mitzi A. Leatherland and her husband James, and Michelle R. R. Weekley and her husband Carl; nephew, John A. Ruttan II and his wife Nicole Knippa-Ruttan; grandnieces, Jennifer Weekley and Summer Ruttan; and his grandnephew, John Austin Ruttan, all of San Antonio, Texas.
