

William (Bill) Henry Tuch Jr., passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Margaret Tuch Sr. and Brother Bobby Tuch. He is survived by his Daughter Tasha Tuch, Granddaughter Aubree Sanchez, and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of heroism, kindness, friendship, laughter, and achievement. Through his life he endlessly served others, his community, his family and friends; he never knew a stranger.
He was born in San Antonio, Tx on September 8, 1949 to his late parents William and Margaret Tuch. He attended Highlands High School in San Antonio, Tx and graduated in 1967 and remained active throughout his life with fellow graduates. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the United States Navy, and served in the Vietnam War.
Following his time in the US Navy, Bill began his career as a Police Officer with the Universal City Police Department. During his career he achieved many things, the highest achievement being promoted to Lieutenant in the police force. In addition to his achievement he left behind a legacy with the department from the badge emblem he created to lifelong friendships.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gun collecting, and riding his Harley Davidson. During the latter parts of his life as he slowed down, he enjoyed his morning tacos at Bill Millers, quality time with his daughter and granddaughter, and the occasional casino trip.
Bill leaves behind fond memories for all, and will be truly missed.
Join us in honoring Bill's life with Visitation on Wednesday, December 21st from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will follow on Thursday, December 22 at 10 am with interment immediately following.
