Bill was born in Arkansas, the baby of four brothers born to Charlotte Holley and John Watson on April 13, 1917.
He is survived by his wife, Rena of 62 years; children, Bill, Jr. and wife Bonnie, Pamela and husband, Henry Bain; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and countless friends.
He served in the Navy during WWII, and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Bill traveled throughout the world during his career in the oil business. He spent many years in New Orleans and retired in San Antonio in the mid 1970's. He was a story teller, prankster, avid hunter and a warm and generous husband, father and friend. All who knew him could tell stories about their times together.
He left all of us smiling thru our tears gone but never forgotten. The family wishes to thank the wonderful care givers at Homewood Residence as well as the Hospice care givers at Vitas.
