My condolences to Vera and family. My husband,  Thomas M. Slivon worked for SGM Watson back in the 1980"s at the MILPO, Ft. Sam Houston,  Texas.  My husband saw the obituary and was so sorry to hear about his passing.  As my husband was very ill at the time, he couldn't attend the service.  But, my husband really liked and respected SGM Watson.  My husband passed away in February this year. So, I thought Vera would be pleased at how much my husband thought of SGM Watson.  Bless you.

I did not know Willie Sr. but as a distinguished and decorated gentleman and leader who served the United States of America, he raised and nurtured an admirable young son, Willie Jr. who has dedicated his career to public education in PFISD. Sgt. Major was my High school JROTC teacher from 94-98.  I was just talking to my own children about him a few days ago and telling them so many funny stories when they asked me who my favorite teacher was when I was in school. I truly pray he knew the positive impact he made on so many of our lives growing up & that he is resting peacefully. My most heartfelt prayers and sincerest Condolences to his entire family!
