Xavier Elijah Renteria passed away on August 8, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 28, 2010 in San Antonio, TX to Oscar Renteria and Adriana Amber Gomez. He is survived by his parents; siblings: Sebastian Gomez, Alani and Maddie Gallardo; grandparents: Lorena Ponce, Abel Avila, Veronica Alva; Paternal Aunts/Uncles: Arlene Stewart (Dominick), Danny Avila; 1st Cousins Jazzmyn Stewart, Maleah Stewart, Santana Stewart, Kingston Stewart; 2nd cousins: Valeria Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Bella Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Gianna Hernandez; Maternal Aunts and Uncles: Ashlea Gomez, Josh Gomez, Alexis Gomez, Amanda Gomez; Great-Grandparents: Jose Ponce, Carmen Ponce; 1st Aunts and Uncles: Eva Herrera, Jose Luis Ponce, Norma Sanchez, Eduardo Ponce, Irma Ponce, Jose Sanchez, Hector Herrera; 2nd Aunts and Uncles: Julia Sanchez, Jonathan Sanchez, Mayra Rivera, Nancy Michaels, Andrew Ponce, Alexandra Ponce, Samantha Ponce, Emily Ponce, Emiliano Ponce and other family members and friends.

Xavier was a loving sentimental loving boy who could put a smile on anyone’s face. He loved to dance and play video games. He was an avid fan of soccer he loved the Chivas USA soccer team. In fact, he was wanted to be a professional soccer player for them. He was a kind, noble beautiful soul who was taken too soon from us but we will never forget the light he brought to our lives.

A visitation for Xavier will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 6pm-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 10am at Fil-Am International Seventh-day Adventist Church, 9190 Abe Lincoln San Antonio, TX 78240 with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
