Yolanda Garza Mrs. Alanis

A loving mother and central figure of the family, Yolanda had an unwavering faith in God and always had her family in prayer. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church where over the years she was very involved with and was a former president of the Guadalupanas, the church choir and St. Vincent de Paul. She was an amazing cook and always enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends.

She will always be remembered for her caring ways and undying love for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Pedro C. Alanis; her children and their spouses, Pedro G. Alanis, Ricardo (Diana) Alanis, Yolanda (Humberto) Gonzalez; Anita (David) Torres, Juan Alanis, Rodolfo "Rudy" Alanis, Raul "Roy" Alanis, Gustavo "Gus" (Olga) Alanis; 6 loving grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her sister, Deyanira; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Yolanda will be in state from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East.

Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Porter Loring North Chapel.

Mass, 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann Street, San Antonio, Texas 78201.
