Momma I love you so much, I miss everything about you. so I’ll say it proudly I promise I’m not me, if you not right here beside me. Haven’t even said the word momma out loudly. One word just for you. But I need a dictionary full of words, just to describe you. I’m Closer to the Lord now, so this bible will do. You introduced me to God. When I didn’t want him. Little did I know you & him have plans for me. Thank you Jesus, the Son of God. Just like his father before him. My momma gave unconditional love, yah she adored me.
I held the tears, she’d cry for me. My hero without a cape, Marvel & DC Comics could learn a thing or two. She saved my life, not fiction a true story. 6yrs old my momma told me, at 5months old a baby , no one wanted me, said they couldn’t afford another mouth to feed. 52yrs old I thought you were cold & cruel. 29yrs old & thankful for the hard truth. Your the truth without trying , is how I describe you. An Angel who walked amongst the the living. My Inspiration when I needed it. A smile so honest,  that she didn’t smile much. A cold woman, sometimes I laugh if someone tried calling your bluff. I stepped Out of line, her left hand never lost strength to help straighten me up. My best friend was a 5x breast cancer survivor, somehow you llift me up. We talked all night. Convos about life, even heartaches, the struggles. My kind of night,Your favorite conversations had my baby’s in em. I promise your smile, hugs & home cooked me. Had me calling, thinking you were still near. I got up like I normally do. I’d come up with a silly excuse, just to see you. Like momma need a sneakers & a torta. A Just because.  I know you can’t read this, but you feel the tears. No one sees me, but you  see me right now right here. No one hears me, but I know you listening. Never goodbye more of a I’ll see you later. Until I see you, I’ll forever Talk to you in prayer 🙏. Survived by her beloved companion, Domingo V. Vargas; her children, Joe Mendoza Jr., Alex Mendoza, Diana Aldaco and Alex Badillo; her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Maria Elena Lopez, Margarito Campos and Juan Campos; and her extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Campos and Maria Gallardo Campos; and her brothers, Gregorio Campos Jr., Ray Campos, Antonio Campos and Concepcion Campos.
