Yolanda Torres Torres

Yolanda was born September 21, 1942 in Pueblo Yaqui, Sonora Mexico to Amadeo Vela Torres and Amalia Ochoa Encinas.

Yolanda was many things in her life including a sister to her siblings Antonio, Amadeo (Poli), Fortino, Maria Adina Castelo, Lydia Esquer, Elizabeth Quiroz, and Raquel Garcia. Ms. Torres was known for her commitment and dedication to be an amazing mother to her daughter. Yolanda always showed her love by making her family a home cooked meal. Yolanda would often be found outside tending to her beautiful garden.

Ms. Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents Amadeo Vela Torres and Amalia Ochoa Encinas, her brother Antonio Amadeo, "Poli", Fortino, her sisters Maria Adina Castelo, Lidia Esquer, and Raquel Garcia.

Her memory will live on forever and she will be deeply missed and remembered by her daughter Amalia Yolanda Ortiz, her son-in-law Moses Ortiz, her beautiful grandchildren Sarvia Torres Ortiz, and Amadeo Torres Ortiz, her extended family, and friends.

A visitation for Yolanda will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A prayer service will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. An interment will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
