Charlotte Anne Highland

Charlotte Anne Highland passed away Wednesday February 17th, 2016. She was born to Bud and Marguerite Confer May 14th, 1937 in Ontario, California. Charlotte was an avid gardener and her home was always filled with fresh cut flowers from her garden. She loved camping and spent vacations in Carlsbad, Santa Barbara and after retirement in Big Bear. Charlotte loved spending time with her family and hosted many celebrations filled with good food and laughter. She was an excellent cook, well known for her Chile Rellenos. She spent her career at Benson photography taking pictures for schools while working with good friends. Charlotte was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by all those touched by her life. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Benny Highland, 4 children and spouses Kathy Lund, Terri and Dave Wagner, Tani and Scott McMillan, Brian Highland and blessed with 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Kathleen Corns and 1 grandchild Evan Wagner whom she now joins in heaven. Memorial service will be held Sunday February 28, 2016 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Mt View Mortuary, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, California, 92404. reception will be at 12:00 pm at Mt View Mortuary following the memorial. Burial will be held at a later day.
