

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Consuelo C. Diaz, passed away on January 7, 2013 at home with her family at her side in San Bernardino, CA. She’s preceded in death by her parents Esteban and Guadalupe Camarena; two sisters, Carmen Tovar and Elena Garcia; and her beloved husband Sal Diaz. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on June 25, 1918 and lived in California for more than 73 years. She leaves behind a son Sal Diaz Jr. of Duarte, CA; two daughters; Rosemary Diaz & Lupe Botello of San Bernardino; three grandchildren, Sal Diaz, Steven Diaz and Marie Botello; two great-grandchildren, Sadie and Mia Diaz; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Wednesday Jan. 16, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm with the Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary. Mass will be held at St. Bernardine's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday Jan. 17, 2013 with Father Leonard presiding. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sal Diaz Jr., Steven Diaz, Sal D. Diaz, Marco Tovar, Eric Antillion, and Alfred Botello. She will always live in our hearts and she will never be forgotten. She will continue to live through her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. We were blessed to have her as a mother. She will be sorely missed. Until we meet again in Heaven.
