Age 71, passed away on May 11, 2012 at home in San Bernardino, CA where he had been a resident for 42 years. He was born in Colton, CA.
Gilbert was a Vietnam Army Veteran, Private 1st Class, a graduate of Bradley University and was a Salesman for 10 years for Clean-Pro. Gilbert enjoyed jazz music and watching sports.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his wife Gloria. He is survived by his daughter Laura Velasquez; sons Gilbert and Patrick Velasquez and sister Veronica Roybal and 7 grandsons.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 18 at 9am with the Rosary at 9:30am and services to start at 10am.
