

Gordon L. Terrien, 85, died Thursday morning, January 19, 2017, at his home. He was born September 22, 1931, in DePere, Wisconsin, to the late Bernard and Louisa (Kuntze) Terrien. Gordon married Evelyn Greeson on October 7, 1953 in Pomona, California and were married for over 63 years. He served in the Air Force for three years, worked as an electrician for Lockheed, Clairmont Colleges, and eventually Libby Glass where he retired. Once retired he served as an L.A.S.D. Senior Patrol Volunteer for Walnut Diamond Bar Sherrif’s Station. He was a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers and very fond of woodworking in his retirement years.
Gordon is survived by his wife Evelyn and his brother Richard (Jacquelynn) Terrien of Green Bay, WI; sister-in-Law Pat (Eugene) Terrien; nieces Susan (Jack) Younger; Aleece Dean; Celeste Terrien; Roxanne (Martin) McAvoy; Tina (Matt) Wauters; Jodi Hanley; nephew Bernard (Lynn) Terrien; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his three brothers Eugene, Ralph, and Valarian; nephew Jeff Terrien; niece Julie Terrien.
Viewing at St. Dennis Church, 2151 S. Diamond Bar Blvd, CA 91765 will be held between 9:00 am and 10:45 am Saturday, February 4, until the memorial service at 11:00am. Gordon will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery at 9:15am on Monday, February 6. Online condolences may be sent to Gordon’s family at [email protected].
