Dear Yolonda and Kalin, to both of you I send my sincere condolences.  It is not going to be easy for you but I will pray along with many others that God will encourage and love on you and surround you with people that will hug on you and encourage you during this great loss.  You are in my prayers. I know your Mother is in the arms of Jesus and as days go by may he heal all the pain you both carry. The Bible says he will never leave us are forsake us, may  you feel his presence as you grieve.  Pina, was my best friend in High School .  I remember we had the same lunch hour her and would sit in the quad of the school and talk and talk. Towards the end of our Senior year she would crochet as she talked. I always admired her .  All through High School she was a four point O student, which was not easy, but for her it was. She would tell me after we get out of High School I want you to go with me to meet my family in Mexico, so she talked about planning a trip. We just got busy after that, we got involved with our different education and jobs. Just know you have so much to be proud ! Mama I miss you. I miss hearing your laughter the most. I love hearing and reading  the stories your friends and loved ones are sharing. It is proof of the kindness, fun and love you shared with everyone.  I will love you forever.

I met Ms. Josie when I first started working at ARMC 7 years ago, but when I transitioned to Pediatrics 2 years ago is when I really got to know her.  I worked in a clinic that everything was so fast paced, that you wanted to get patients in and out as fast as you can.  Ms. Josie took time and spent time to make sure patients had everything they needed before they left.  She taught me to slow down and take my time with patients.  She brought back my spark of love, passion, and reason of working in healthcare.  I will miss her kind and fighting spirit.

Josie is the most meticulous nurse I have ever met in my career. Her top priority is patient safety. The doctors admire her because of this. She is so dear to my heart that I call her mama at work. I will miss her text and calls. Farewell my dear friend…  Until we meet again.

Since I was little to an adult you have always shared your birthdays and cake with me.  How lucky I was ! I guess I was spoiled . 🥰 love and kisses.  Rest in peace with mama and daddy!

Tiara ON because she was our queen. A very short queen, but a queen nonetheless.

Always the life of the party. She showed up every day with pure love to give, the biggest smile on her face, and joy in her heart.

Tia Pena was always a warm loving soul.  She always greeted me with love 💕 ln her heart. Taken too soon from our world. She will be missed.

I miss you so much my beautiful sister. Our family matriarch. As  loving and kind as Mama was you filled her shoes perfectly. I hope to do likewise. I will love you forever. Family love  and respect is everything and you made it happen in ours. Rest in peace and power, Pina.

It was  a blessing to be her neighbor and friend for almost forty years. I’ll sure miss our side of the house chi chats,  her ALWAYS delicious  bone- digger soup and Christmas tamales her and her sisters made every year. It won’t be the same without her not next door to me. We love you Pena. Rest in peace. Say hi to Marty for me

My family and I were beyond saddened to hear of your loss. Pina, thank you for everything you did, you will be greatly missed. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, looking back in memories helps comfort us tomorrow.

Our deepest empathy Anthony and I feel right now knowing that Pina is not with us anymore, with her cheerful spirit and joyful laughters with my father in law Ramon. We will always cherish the memories we have of her.

I had the honor of knowing and working alongside Josie for 10 years. Her wisdom, her spark, her storytelling made it a joy whenever we saw each other. When we met I was single with no kids and she walked alongside me as I became a wife and mother. Her family traditions became such a base for my own family. I remember your salsa moves in the boredom of our nurses station and your stories that played out like movies the way you told them. I will miss everything about you Josie you were such a dear friend, an inspiration, such a strong woman. I pray so deeply for your family - your kids, husband, sisters, nieces and all have been on my mind constantly. You were so loved in this life and will continue to be loved and remembered always. Rest in peace sweet Pina.

Pina thank you so much for being so kind loving and welcoming twords me. I wish we would have had more time. Rest in love and piece.

I can honestly say Josie was an AMAZING woman! It was a pleasure to have known her for so many years. She will be truly missed. My sincerest condolences for the family during these times.

You will always be so loved and you will be missed DEARLY. May you continue to watch over  us along my daddy’s side ♥️ what a woman you were Pina. I thank you so much for loving my grandpa the way you did ♥️
