Keith Kenneth Steele

Keith K. Steele of Hesperia, Ca passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born on September 19, 1948 in Caracas, Venezuela to Keith and Julia Steele. He came to Minnesota USA in 1949. The family moved to California in the early 1950's. Keith grew up in Colton, Ca. graduating from Colton High School in 1966. He was always active in sports, excelling in baseball, and was a letterman on the CUHS Varsity Football Team. He attended San Bernardino Valley College until February 1969 when he entered the Army. He served his country until February 1971, receiving two bronze stars and one oak leaf cluster.

Keith was a hard worker, he worked for Colton Manufacturing for several years, and AFG Glass Manufacturing from start up in 1987 until it shut down in 2008. He had second jobs many times in his life .

Keith was active in organizing and participating in the Summit Valley Volunteer Fire Department during the early 1980's.He was an active member of Victor Valley Vettes Car Club from 2009 until 2011. He was a member of Corral 103 Equestrian Club for many years.

His greatest achievements included being a father to his two sons, taking on the huge task of building the home for his family with the help of his father, and all of his family members and many friends, being a mentor and friend to many coworkers, and a father figure to so many who consider him to be family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Julia Steele,and sister Nancy Steele Owens. He is survived by his wife Anne Steele of Hesperia Ca,, son Keith Steele and daughter in law Michelle Robertson of Lompoc Ca., son Charles Steele of Apple Valley Ca, granddaughter Kayla Steele of Weed, Ca, grandson Taylor Robertson of Bakersfield Ca., sister Debbie Kelly and brother in law Mike Kelly of Yucaipa, Ca, and brother in law Ron Owens of Fontana, Ca, two nephews, six nieces, and many grand nieces and nephews. Also numerous others who loved him and considered him a father and a mentor.
