Marg fell in love with San Bernardino when she visited her Aunt at the age of 14 in 1937 and vowed to return. She returned in 1953 with her husband Robert and only child Christopher, both preceding her in death. In her 102 years she served in World War II as an airplane mechanic and was honorably discharged. She retired in 1982 from San Bernardino County and traveled the world at every opportunity. She was an accomplished artist and won many awards. Marg loved dogs with rescues being her passion. Her motto for a long life: Go with the flow and don't stress about things you have no control over. She volunteered for many organizations throughout the years, Yucaipa Valley Genealogical Society, Register of Voters, San Bernardino County Museum and others. She leaves behind her granddaughter April Moreno and husband Andrew, great grandchildren Jordan, Ariel, Cheyanne and Cruz. Two great-great grandchildren Izaiah and Aleena. Her nephew Ron Matuszek and partner Sheryl Hayser and many Herbuveaux cousins
