Margarita Socorro Lopez

Margarita S. Lopez of Redlands, California was born October 21, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to rejoice with the Lord April 8th, 2020 and join her beloved husband Benjamin D. Lopez of 57 years, her beautiful granddaughter Alexis L. Madrigal, loving parents Bacilio and Aurelia Tijerina and siblings Bacilio Tijerina Jr., George Tijerina, Amelia Whitney, Juan Tijerina and Aurelia Montoya.

Margarita raised 5 children Claudia (Lopez) Delacruz, Stephan Lopez, Marisol Lopez and stepdaughter Sylvia (Lopez) Mullin. She was also blessed with all her heart and soul with 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren that she loved and adored very much 💜.

Margarita was the most loving, unconditional and giving Mother...a very intelligent, hardworking woman with the greatest values she passed on to her children.

Margarita Honorably served the United States Air Force and continued working for GTE as a Professional Drafting Engineer to retire after 30 years... additionally she worked at San Manuel Casino which she truly enjoyed, and she studied, pursued, and achieved her CNA license.

Our family will miss Mom's love for Church, Family, Holiday Time, Singing, Cooking, Shopping, Movies, Casino, and watching Game Shows but most of all she loved going out and about with family.

Mom we will FOREVER miss your ever loving heart, embraces and talks so much, give Dad a Big hug and Kiss for us all...
