Marlene Joyce Borsuk

December 14, 1978–February 15, 2026

Beloved mother, daughter and sister Marlene Joyce Borsuk passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer. Marlene was born and raised in San Bernardino, Calif. She attended Del Rosa Elementary School and Golden Valley Middle School and graduated from San Bernardino High School as part of the Class of 1997. She earned her associate’s degree from San Bernardino Valley College. She served as an instructional aide with the San Bernardino City Unified School District, most recently at San Gorgonio High School, helping both teachers and students. She was an avid comic book and anime fan who was proud of her extensive comic book collection and co-founded the longest-running anime club in San Bernardino, but she was most proud of her greatest achievement—giving birth to her beautiful daughter. Marlene is survived by her mother, Jewell; her sister, Corina; and her daughter, Natasha Borsuk. She was preceded in death by her father, Stuart “Skip” Borsuk. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary in San Bernardino. Services will be Wednesday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
