Maurice Mr. Moe/ Uncle Moe Dale DeMong II

Devoted father, loving husband and helpful and caring to his neighbors and friends, Maurice D. DeMong passed away suddenly on 8-28 at home. He survived by his wife, Mary Gould-DeMong and only son and best friend Michael David, brothers Richard and Robert DeMong and one sister Cheri DeMong Teale and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Moe's parents. Maurice and R.Jane DeMong preceded him in death.

Maurice worked in the auto parts industry for over 30 years and owned Inland Auto Supply. He helped everyone on our street when they needed anything done. He had a knack of being able to take most things apart and repairing what was broken. He will truly be missed by his son whom he doted on religiously with motorcycle rides, camping trips, scout meetings, trips to work, spray painting, modifying toys and Friday nights at Inland Motor Speedway.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michaels School Fund c/o Mary or to The Thomas A. Gould Memorial Fund, c/o Firefighters Local 891, PO BOX 2703, SB, CA 92406. Services are Friday, September 14, 2012 at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N Arrowhead Ave, SB-Rosary at 12:30 pm-Mass at 1:00 pm- Mt View Cemetery, Waterman and Highland at 2:00 pm and reception back at the Church's fellowship hall at 3:00 pm. Bring your vintage cars and we will have Moe's Farewell Rendezvous Memorial Drive to and from the sites.
