

MICHAEL P. ROSSI December 26, 1948 - July 14, 2011 Mike passed away at home in Redlands from natural causes. He was born in San Bernardino, California, the first born son of La Rue and Phil Rossi. He was predeceased by his mother, but is survived by his father, sister, two brothers, daughter, and two sons. Mike attended Pacific High School and was the Senior Class Rep of ASB, a member of the Galahads, and a player on the Basketball and Baseball teams. Mike graduated from Pacific in 1967. He was married to his high school sweetheart and welcomed into the DiCarlo family like one of their own. He served proudly in the Army Reserves, the National Guard, and the Air Force Reserves. With his wife at the time, he owned and operated Ace Lighting. He was active in the community and coached many sports teams for his children. Mike never passed at a good time and enjoyed frequent trips to Vegas and Mexico. At the young age of 33, he suffered from two strokes. His strength and will allowed him for twenty-nine more years to battle high blood pressure and heart disease. All the while, he enjoyed any activity out in the sun, especially the river and beach. He was an avid sports fan for all the home teams - Dodgers, Angels, Lakers. And mostly, Mike, being the likeable guy that he was, always loved laughing and being in the company of others. For those of us who remain here without Mike, we are happy that he has been able to be reunited with his mother and are sure he did so with that big grin of his. Services will be held at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave in San Bernardino on Thursday, July 28 at 6:00 P.M.
