He attended public schools in both Chicago and Los Angeles, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, CA.
Randy was an awesome father, brother, friend, and just an all around phenomenal person. He was totally devoted to his children, he was a passionate union worker and activist, and a very caring home health care provider. Randy always stayed true to his hometown. He was an avid football fan and loved the Chicago Bears. He advocated for everything having to do with his beloved city. It was always Chi-town or nothing.
On August 6, 2024 in San Bernardino, CA., Randy entered into eternal rest. His parents both preceded him in death and his passing has most definitely left a void in everyone's life he touched. His laugh, his smile, his witty jokes, and snappy comebacks along with his presence will be missed by all.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, two children, Victoria (Tyeshia) and Randy II (Saleria); two brothers, Ryan Moore and Ravelle Dixon; three sisters, Norma Dixon-Wooden (Richard), Clarice Dixon-Pughsley (Luke), and Nikita Dixon, and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.
A graveside service for Randy will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
