My memories of Rudy are  the many years that we spent working at the Santa Fe Railroad together and the times when we would see each other across the big shop building floor and give each other the old "I'm watching you sign".   We always had fun together at the  Santa Fe Family picnics.
I used to tell Rudy that he would be more fun if he would only come out of his "shy" shell.
Through the years my wife, Gena, & I would enjoy seeing Rudy & Lisa at the retirement reunion meetings.  Sometimes the meetings were in Las Vegas and often closer to home.  Always fun though!
It hurt me to see my old buddy slowing down lately and drifting away from us.  Thank you Lisa for watching over him and keeping him comfortable as his health failed him.
I'll always remember and cherish the good times old Friend.

My heart breaks to know that Rudy is no longer with Lisa and his family. I got to know Rudy and Lisa when they moved to Topeka. I met Lisa thru our jobs and this led to some of the most wonderful years of my life.  Rudy and Lisa are my San Bernadino family who I love so much.  I know that Rudy is now a special angel and he will watch over Lisa. I will miss you Rudy as you have a place in my heart forever. 🙏🏽❤️
