

Sal Diaz 84, passed away on January 14, 2004 in San Bernardino,CA. He was born to Henry and Ruth Diaz in Los Angeles, CA. He retired from B.F. Goodrich in Los Angeles after thirty years of service. He was also a veteran of the US Army. He leaves behind his wife, Consuelo of 57 years. Two daughters; Rosemary Diaz & Lupe Botello of San Bernardino and a son; Sal Diaz of Duarte,Ca. Brothers; Baltasar, Louie, Henry and Freddie. Sisters; Esther Munoz and Margaret Gorman all from Los Angeles, Ca. Three grandchildren; Sal Diaz, Steven Avila, and Marie Botello. One great-grandchild; Sadie Diaz....and many good friends.Visitation will be Wednesday Jan. 21, 2004 from 4pm to 8pm with the Reatation of the Rosary at 7pm at Mt. View Mortuary. Mass will be at 10:00 am at St. Bernardine's Catholic Church with Father Ed Gomez officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Sal Diaz Jr.,Sal Diaz III, Steven Avila, Alfred Botello, Louie Diaz, Freddie Diaz, and Baltasar Diaz. The void is immeasurable, the memories and his goodness are forever etched on our heart and soul. He will be sorely missed. Until We meet again in Heaven, meantime you will live in our hearts.
