Susanna De La Cruz

She was born on October 24, 1942 in San Bernardino and lived her whole life in our community. She worked as a cook at Taco Bender in San Bernardino for over 25 years.

She loved playing BINGO and she loved to cook.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Tomas and Rosa Marquez; her sister Mary Valdez; son, Chuey Ortega; and grandsons Billy Gonzalez and J.J. Ortega.

She is survived by her sister, Josie Martinez; her daughters, Rosemary, Theresa and Debra; her son, Daniel; and her 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank family and friends for being present to celebrate her life together.

A funeral service for Susanna will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.

A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.

A reception will occur Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Eagles Hall, 895 9th St, San Bernardino, CA 92410.
